The Avalanche Training with a Mountain Guide Zermatt is for all who want to go off piste safely

• How to judge the avalanche danger and how to deal with it.
• How to plan tours and descents.
• How to handle safety equipment.
• How do take correct decisions under pressure and in critical situations.
• What to do when something happens.

Requirements:
Safe skiing / snowboarding in unprepared terrain.

Standard:
CHF 650.00 for 1 or 2 people, for every additional person a fee of CHF 40.00 per person will be charged. Without skipass.

Peak Season:
22nd December 2024 – 4th January 2025 / 9th February – 4th March 2025 / 13th April – 26th April 2025.
CHF 690.00 for 1 or 2 people, for every additional person a fee of CHF 50.00 per person will be charged. Without skipass.

Service:
Mountain Guide and outdoor training (about 5 hours).

You need the following equipment for an Avalanche Training:

Compulsory Equipment:
Rucksack 10 – 20* – Skis or Snowboard* – Ski poles* – Lightweight shovel* – Avalanche transceiver* – Probes* – Skiwear – Gloves – Warm hat – Sunglasses – Personal medication.

Nice to have:
Goggles – Airbag – Helmet – Spare gloves – Facemask – Sun hat – Sun screen factor >25 – Lip balm factor >15 – Camera (small and light) – Notepad and pen.

Items with a * can be rented.

Please note:
Everything you bring with you, you have to carry it by yourself. Try to be as light as possible.
