Monte Rosa Hut Mountain Guide Zermatt
Enjoy your hiking holiday with a Mountain Guide – Hiking Guide Zermatt
The mountains of Zermatt give you an impressive and unforgettable nature experience
The new Monte Rosa Hut is the most modern hut of its kind in the Alps or even in the whole world. It’s a hut with future orientated technology, design and use of energy.
To reach the 2883 metre / 9226 ft. based hut it’s necessary to cross the Gorner glacier. Sometimes the conditions on the glacier require the use of crampons. As it’s a strenuous high alpine hike it’s highly recommended to allow yourself enough time for this trip with a night in the hut. Enjoy the sunset in the hut which is surrounded by the highest mountains in the Alps and of course the Matterhorn is right in front of you.
